Geodiversity and Music for ‘Il Bosco delle Rocce’

TheGEOdiversUNITO multimedia installation, created in October 2022 in Turin as part of theUniVersoProject dedicated to the theme ofgeodiversity, has now found its permanent home atVilla Caccia in Romagnano Sesia, home tothe MEV – the Historical and Ethnographic Museum of Lower Valsesia. The exhibition, entitled ‘Il bosco delle rocce’ (The Forest of Rocks) as it is made from rocks from theSesia Val Grande Geopark area, will be presented at the MEVon Saturday 10 June 2023 at 3.00 pm, accompanied by a concert performed by theREAL VOCAL CHOIR, conducted by Maestro Massimo Peiretti.

The installation, curated by Marco Giardino, Vincenzo Lombardo, Giulia Carluccio and Luca Morino, was intended to showcase the geodiversity of the UNESCO Geopark, and its permanent location at Villa Caccia – coinciding with European Geoparks Week – will now allow visitors to appreciate it even more.

The unveiling of the installation at its new location will be preceded at 11.00 am by the general meeting of the Sesia Val Grande GeoparkSupervulcano Valsesia Association- Sesia Val Grande Geopark Association: an opportunity for members and friends to come together, during which the activities and projects carried out in 2022 and those currently underway will be presented.
