Geodiversity Day in the Sesia Val Grande Geopark

On 6 October, to mark Geodiversity Day, the law on the conservation, management and promotion of the geological heritage was signed by the President of the Piedmont Region, Alberto Cirio, in the presence of Carlo Riva Vercellotti and Marco Giardino. At the same time, Dr Alberto Zanetti from the University of Pavia gave a presentation on the results of the first deep drilling operation carried out at Ornavasso.
