GEOdiversUniTo – The Forest of Rocks

To mark UNESCO’s World Geodiversity Day, another significant milestone for our organisation has been reached with the multimedia exhibition “GeoDiversUnito – The Forest of Rocks”, which opened today in the courtyard of the Rectorate of the University of Turin. The creators of this geological park, which will be open to visitors for a month, are our president Marco Giardino – the exhibition’s creator and curator – together with Prof. Vincenzo Lombardo, the University’s Vice-Rector Giulia Carluccio, and Luca Morino, who is responsible for the artistic aspect. Once the exhibition – which evocatively showcases the rocks of the Supervolcano and the Geopark – has concluded, it will move from Turin to the Geopark area, and the installation will be set up at Villa Caccia in Romagnano Sesia.
