Ordinary General Meeting: ‘Geodiversity in its territorial dimensions’

On 10 June 2023, the annual general meeting of the Sesia Val Grande Geopark Association was held at the Ethnographic Museum of Lower Valsesia (MEV) in Villa Caccia.

The 20 members present reported on the activities carried out in 2022, such as the EGN Conference 2022, held in Verbania from 26 to 30 September 2022, and ‘La Memoria dei Ghiacci’, a project by MUR in collaboration with Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, MUSE in Trento and Forte di Bard (VdA).

The discussion then turned to the activities carried out so far this year, primarily the re-accreditation of the Geopark by UNESCO.
