Pink…blue…green! An eco-relay between LTER sites from Monte Rosa to Lake Maggiore

The LTER Italy Network’s initiative, “Pink…blue…green! Eco-relay between LTER sites from Monte Rosa to Lake Maggiore”, where a number of Italian researchers, involved in Long-Term Ecological Research on ecosystems (LTER-Italy Network) and biodiversity (LifeWatch), undertook a science outreach programme together with members of the public.

It was the last of three walks sponsored by the National Research Council (CNR) and organised between June and August 2015: prior to the “Cammino Rosa”, the following walks had taken place:“Mesothalassia: an ecological cycle relay from the dunes of Molise to the Gulf of Naples”,“Through the Central Apennines from the Velino to the Gran Sasso: the biodiversity adventure”
