Stone Treasures – above and below the mountains

2021, International Year of Caves and Karst: to mark this occasion, organised by the International Speleological Association, the Sesia – Val Grande Geopark is hosting a series of events coordinated by the Sesia Valley Protected Areas Management Authority: STONE TREASURES – above and below the mountains.  

From May to November, across the entire Geopark area, there will be a packed programme of educational events and excursions designed to introduce visitors to the marvellous world of caves and to explore the geology, archaeology and biology of the underground world, thanks to the enthusiastic efforts of numerous partners.
