The Supervolcano menu

The “Supervolcano Menu”, a delightful social highlight of the event organised by the Geopark on Sunday 22 May, served as an interesting prelude to the success we hope the GEOfood brand – developed within UNESCO Geoparks and linked to the region’s environmental and agri-food sustainability – will enjoy. The Sesia Val Grande Geopark is the third in Italy to have signed up to the code of practice, following Rocca di Cerere in Sicily and the Parco delle Colline Metallifere in Tuscany. The event was hosted at the “Gufo di pietra” Osteria in Serravalle Sesia and the A. Vallana winery in Maggiora, led by Francis Fogarty, a partner and winegrower who is responsible for promoting the GEOfood project.
